TECH HOUSE, ELECTRO & TECHNO

A regular in most of the electronic music parties in Rio de Janeiro, her hometown, DJ DRI.K is always surprising with her modern and fashionable style. In July of 2006, she attended a workshop at Scratch DJ Academy, in New York. Only a few months later, she played at the first “We Love Brazil? party during the Winter Music Conference 2007 and at The White Room in Palermo Hollywood, Buenos Aires/Argentina. In 2007, she came back to the US for her first official tour and she returned this year for playing at few parties during the Winter Music Conference 2008 and then she goes to New York and Boston, where will be playing with Gui Boratto, the most important brazilian producer of techno, at the Great Scott.

In Rio, she has played in every top club such as The Week, Foxfobox, Dama de Ferro, 69, Nuth, D.Club, Patio Lounge and also at other events like TIM Summer Copacabana Beach and Arena Morro da Urca. She was the only woman playing at Skol Wheel during the Carnival 2008 in Rio de Janeiro sharing the booth with Mason (Holland), Eric Entrena (Spain) and Tomcraft (Germany). She played at Adidas and Diesel Store cocktails and also played in several clubs all over Brazil. Had two of her mixed sets selected to play at the party “Leggo My Demo? (a monthly event that it congregates some of best house deejays from the south of the Florida to hear the best set of the month, chosen between deejays from all over the world) at The Rooftop Lounge, in Miami Beach. Dri.K also had her own online radio show, the Electro Emotion at Agita Net FM.

One of the great feminine promises of the scene in Rio de Janeiro, DRI.K currently integrates casting of the Titattium in Portugal, UC Bookings in the United States and Agência Play, one of the biggest deejays agencies of Brazil. Dri.K never fails to suprise with eclectic and amazing sets, which include tech and electro house. By adding beauty and charisma to her wonderful sets, she is capable of setting the mood in any party. When Dri.K is in charge, you can always expect lots of fun, filled of sexy and involving grooves.

Dave DK BIOGRAPHY http://www.davedk.com

DJ & producer David Krasemann, better known as Dave DK has been making
waves in the electronic music scene for a couple of years now, and now starting to
emerge as a serious player. Since the early 90's he was fascinated by the
upcoming techno movement, which eventually led to his own active initiation. 1995
was the starting point for the then 17 year old. Together with a longtime friend,
Dave produced his first tracks and was involved in the organization of
underground techno and house partys, constantly trying to spread and push new
electronic music.
Searching for new electronic sounds every day and having honed his skills as a
producer in his chosen home Berlin, Dave released his first record on Müller
Records in 1998. His DJ activities had been highly pushed since that time. In 1999
he became a resident DJ at Tresor/Globus club in Berlin, later on also at the
legendary Panorama Bar. Beside his remix productions for Beroshima and
Skiebäck he released records on raum...musik., Decore, Lifetime Music and
Cadeaux.
As Dave is an open minded person who resents musical limits, he doesn’t want to
be reduced to one style.  His sound simply is the result of different styles that have
influenced him throughout the years. "I have a passion for the wide range between
house and techno as well as pop music and dancefloor stuff of the early 90's",
says Dave.
Though he’s elegantly juggling a variety of electronic music to create his own style,
in his tracks he often combines tragic melodies with kickin’ grooves that transform
your body into a twisting stampede of electricity, with trademark swing and warm
funk.
The year 2000 can be marked as the first highlight in his career: his debut album
"sensory overload“ had been released on Müller Records and there were musical
excursions on Cologne’s Television label as well as on the Barcelona based
Regular label. Dave is now currently recording for Moodmusic and also on
Playhouse (a collaboration with Holger „Smash TV“ Zilske) which brings him even
closer to his idea of electronic house tunes.
In November 2007 Dave released his second album „Lights and Colours“ on
Moodmusic.
For Dave DK, music is a model of living in which he’s able to enhance his skills in
order to realise his vision of modern electronic club and home entertainment –
expect more fantastic releases in the very near future.
